We can, but at the moment, those available on our crowdfunding site (Kickstarter) are the best we have.
There is something like this in the market…or almost like this.
There is nothing exactly like this in the market. Yes, there are cargo bikes which can haul children and cargo. But they cannot be used as tables. Yes, there are cargo bikes which can be used as tables, and they are currently used to retail F&B. But they cannot be used to transport children reasonably. We like to produce things at where the market needs them, not things which are so far ahead that consumers cannot get used to them.
It’s an e-battery from a Chinese brand. I'm not sure it's reliable.
Our bikes are made in Bulgaria and Taiwan. That said, we do work with brands from all over the world, always ensuring that we work only with those which are best in class partners. Yes, some parts are from China. But we work with the best there too. If there are problems faced with the electronics (the Ananda M100), we will replace or repair them. Ananda provides a worldwide warranty.
PURCHASE
What is the difference between the Europe and US versions of Sherpaa?
The difference lies in the motor and battery:
Europe Version: • 36V, 250W mid-drive motor • 36V 19.6Ah battery
US Version: • 36V, 500W mid-drive motor • 48V 14Ah battery
Why is there a price difference between the Europe and US versions of Sherpaa?
The higher price in the US is primarily due to higher import duties and tariffs imposed on goods entering the US market, which significantly impacts the overall cost of bringing the product to market.
Where do you ship?
We ship to the United States of America (excluding Canada, Alaska and Hawaii), all of Europe including UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Will the product be available outside of Kickstarter after the campaign ends?
Yes, it will be available on Amazon.com.
How long does it take for me to receive my bike?
The first bikes in our inventory will be shipped out 0-3 months as soon as our Kickstarter campaign ends. For subsequent bike orders, shipping can take up to 6 months due to unpredictable logistics. We believe in being upfront with you. We value our reputation and want to be as fair and transparent as possible. Thanks to strong, long-term partnerships with manufacturers and shippers, we’re committed to steadily reducing lead times. We’re seasoned professionals and family men who take this seriously and work hard to deliver your order as efficiently and reliably as possible.
How will we know when the shipment has arrived?
We will provide regular updates, including real time tracking if possible. What we know, you will know.
What should I know about care and maintenance after purchase?
Our bikes are built to last, but proper care is key. Side tables hold 8 kg each (up to 60 kg with supports), top table 50–100 kg (assuming weight is evenly distributed).
